If I was in charge of the school I would...

If I was in charge of school I would first change the teachers. I would make the teachers be more of themselves then to have them all treating the seniors like babies. I believe that if the teachers were more of themselves and were more open to the student then the relationship between each other would be more positive and this would make it more easier for the student to understand their learning being given. I also think this way the teachers would be able to teach the student in a more easy and fun. In future I believe that when a student goes off into the real world the chances of them becoming more sociable would be higher and would treat other teachers more of a friend then just being a teacher.

I would change the time school starts. So far I think that the starting and finishing of the school is too messy and confusing. There is also the problem of after school activities, when school finishes at 3:25 and a activity starts at 3:30, this is a major problem. So I would have 2 fixed school times. On Monday – Wednesday school starts at 9:00am – 3:00pm. Having a standard time throughout these days would help out with getting up in the morning and finishing at the same time as other schools. Then on Thursday – Friday school would start from 8:45 am – 2:45pm. I got to be honest. From 3 days in the week we would be wide away with our school work and by the end of the day finishing early and having a head start into the weekend is a treat into our hard work and personal life.

Lastly I would change the stupid prices of the school tuck shop, especially healthy food. This school charges too much for food and I feel ripped off. It’s a strain on the parents having to pay for the kid’s lunches at school. The price of food should be put down due to the difficulties of daily living and spending on food. These prices are UNFAIR. Bananas, apples, peaches, plums, oranges should only cost a few cents each the lower these prices are the healthier and more alert the kids of alfriston college can get. I don’t mind about the price of fatty foods for those prices should be out of reach. I think the fatty foods and surgery sweets should be put at high price to say the those types of foods are just treats.
